The school has tied up with IDC (Idreamcareer) – pioneers in providing career counselling guidance to students.
The counselling program began on 13th November 2021 with an hour-long orientation session for our high school teachers, a few of whom have been appointed as Mentors to assist the IDC Counselllors. Mr. Ankit from IDC briefed the teachers about the entire counselling program and how it will be implemented in different phases to benefit all the girls.
The student orientation session was held on the 19th November 2021 for girls of Classes 9-12, followed with one-and-a-half-hour-long assessment session for girls of grade 10 & 12. The girls were asked to fill individual assessment forms, in order to help the counsellors, get a better insight during their counselling sessions. The girls of Class 10 and 12 started their individual counselling session with the appointed counsellors from the 20th of November and the entire session took a week to complete, where all the girls got a chance to speak to the counsellor individually and they were guided as per the needs.
We hope these sessions will help our girls make informed career and subject choices.
